I represent individuals and businesses across the country in a variety of civil litigation disputes, mostly against large companies. My cases typically involve breach of contract, fraud, business tort, employment discrimination class actions, antitrust, consumer class actions, and other commercial litigation matters.. I grew up as the son of a government lawyer, and always admired my father for taking principled stands on behalf of the public. The idea of helping ensure that justice was done is a large part of what motivated me to go to law school. I spent some time as a federal government lawyer before moving to private practice, where I came to love the thrill of litigation, and the gratification that accompanies successful representation of my clients' interests.. I was born in Lawrence, Kansas, and am a proud fan of the Kansas Jayhawks.  Between college and law school, I lectured at Chiang Mai University in Northern Thailand, where I attained fluency in Thai.
