Over the years, Skylar has gone from being an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate (JAG) in the United States Air Force handling various aspects of civil and military law to becoming a nationally recognized personal injury and estate planning practice, handling all types of accident claims and civil litigation. Skylar is the founder and managing attorney at Hagen & Associates. Skylar’s legal practice focuses on a variety of personal injury cases including car accidents, slip and falls, product liability, wrongful death and more. In addition, we provide excellent estate planning representation such as revocable trusts, wills, codicils, durable power of attorney, HIPAA authorizations and more.. During Skylar's tenure as a JAG, she actively prosecuted numerous criminal court-martials, collaborated with the State Attorney's Office on labor and employment litigation matters, and provided legal assistance to servicemembers and their families in divorce, child custody, and other civil disputes. Additionally, Skylar directly engaged with generals and commanders to address military justice and legal procedures, while concurrently managing multi-million-dollar government contracts for the development of new military base infrastructures. Skylar completed her undergraduate degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Skylar completed her Juris Doctorate at Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California.
