Recognized for his hard work and dedication to the rights of employees, lawyers selected David as a “Super Lawyer” in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.  Prior to 2016, David's peers recognized his efforts and acheievements for his clients by selecting him as a "Rising Star" in the field beginning back in 2009 and then reselected him again in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, an honor available to the top 2.5% of eligible attorneys in California each year. David is a seasoned employment attorney representing both private and public sector employees, as well as high level executives, minimum wage workers, and everyone in between. For over decade David has fought for employees against the largest corporations and continues to obtain millions of dollars each year for his clients.  He has represented clients in California’s trial courts and appellate courts, Federal District Courts and the United States Courts for the Ninth Circuit, arbitrations, and various other government administrative forums.  David decided to dedicate his legal career to representing employees and individuals before law school while working in the construction industry.  While at various employers, David personally witnessed his peers, including those in union environments, denied the same opportunities because of their immigration status, race, and/or gender. David’s employment law practice primarily involves representing individuals in the areas of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, and whistleblowing. Outside of the practice of law, David has found volunteering for community projects as another positive approach to meet individual needs in a profound way.  Currently David is fortunate to serve on the board of directors for ONEgeneration, a unique non-profit organization committed to enriching the lives of seniors and children through intergenerational services and programs.   When not working, David enjoys spending time with his family, as most Southern California natives, outdoors, in the yard or in the waves, or on the soccer field watching his older daughter compete or coaching his younger daughter's team.
