Upon graduation, he began his practice with one of the oldest and most well established law firms in Birmingham, Alabama. He practiced for seven years in this firm's business litigation department. Thereafter, he founded a firm primarily devoted to representing small businesses and consumers.  Many of these clients suffered injury as a result of violations of employment and consumer protection laws.  In 1999, Mr. Armstrong joined a national law firm primarily representing plaintiffs in national class actions and multi-district litigation.. Mr. Armstrong continues to expand his employment law practice relating to wage and hour issues and other matters arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act. He also continues to focus on areas of consumer protection, including current pending class litigation for violations of multiple deceptive trade practices statutes.  The primary focus of this area of the practice is intended to protect individuals from fraud and deception.
