About Christina Dubosky
Christina is a lifelong resident of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Greensburg Central Catholic High School with honors in 2010. Christina then went on to the University of Pittsburgh where she majored in Accounting. For each year of her attendance , she was awarded Merit Scholarship for her academic performance. Also, she was awarded the Vincent A. Finoli Scholarship. While maintaining her status on the Dean’s List, Christina found time to tutor other students in various Accounting courses. She also was recommended by multiple teachers to become a Presidential Ambassador, which allowed her to represent the school and the President of the University through her actions. Christina graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Summa Cum Laude, after only three years, with a degree in Accounting in 2013.. While in college, Christina began her journey into the legal profession by completing an internship with Laurel Legal Services, LLC. She assisted two attorneys at the Westmoreland County Courthouse with Protection from Abuse cases. Through this internship she was able to observe courtroom proceedings, complete various legal documents, and communicate with clients.. The summer after Christina graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, she worked on the clerical staff at Stewart, McArdle, Sorice, Whalen, Farrell, Finoli & Cavanaugh, LLC. Through this experience she was able to see the inner workings of a law firm with attorneys and clients.. Christina then began her legal education at Duquesne University School of Law in the fall of 2013. She was awarded the Duquesne University School of Law Merit Scholarship for her academic performance. During her first year of law school, Christina earned a CALI Award in Legal Research & Writing II for her writing skills. She was also awarded the Duquesne Law Alumni Excellence in Writing Award. In Christina’s third year at Duquesne, she was asked by her Legal Research & Writing professor to be her Teaching Assistant for the Legal Research & Writing program. She aided students in various research and writing assignments and assisted the professor with various tasks, including grading assignments and teaching classes. Also in her third year, Christina earned another CALI award in Applied Competencies I, again being recognized for her writing skills. Christina graduated from Duquesne University in 2016 with a Minor Concentration in Energy and Environmental Law.. While in law school, Christina was asked to return to Stewart, McArdle, Sorice, Whalen, Farrell, Finoli & Cavanaugh, LLC. Once her time on the clerical staff was completed, Christina was asked to stay and work as a Law Clerk. She drafted many legal documents, including marriage settlement agreements, divorce complaints, and All-Counts Conference forms. She also prepared and filed Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions. Also during law school, Christina worked as an intern at Sean Cassidy & Associates, PC, where she performed title searches for oil and gas companies.. A few short months after graduating from Duquesne University, Christina was asked to come back to Stewart, McArdle, Sorice, Whalen, Farrell, Finoli & Cavanaugh, LLC to work as an Associate. Now, Christina works with all of the attorneys in many different practice areas, including family law, estates and trusts, business, and real estate.
