Early in her career, Catherine completed internships with the National Legal Aid and Defender Association in Washington, D.C., former Chief Judge Tara Hagerty of the Jefferson County Family Court, and the Indiana Department of Child Services. In law school, she participated in the Robert and Sue Allen Ackerson Law Clinic, focusing on domestic violence protective orders. She later served as a public defender, representing juveniles in delinquency and status offense cases.. She has focused extensively on family law throughout her career, representing clients in marital dissolution cases and high-conflict family litigation involving complex asset division, financial disputes, non-marital asset protection, child custody, parenting time, and child support matters.
