In law school, she participated in the Robert and Sue Allen Ackerson Law Clinic, focusing on domestic violence protective orders. She later served as a public defender, representing juveniles in delinquency and status offense cases.. She has focused extensively on family law throughout her career, representing clients in marital dissolution cases and high-conflict family litigation involving complex asset division, financial disputes, non-marital asset protection, child custody, parenting time, and child support matters.
