Prior to founding his own consulting firm in 2006, Mr. Ahn served as a press advisor at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul—where he earned the U.S. Department of State’s Employee of the Year Award (“Foreign Service National of the Year”)—and worked as a communications specialist for Samsung, a Seoul-based global conglomerate. He has also worked as a fashion designer, as a wine consultant, as an interpreter/translator, and as a tour guide in Western Europe.. Mr. Ahn is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and the South Carolina Association for Justice (SCAJ). He is admitted to the State Bar, the Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, as well as to the Bars of the District of Columbia and South Carolina. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) Immigration Courts of the United States.. He speaks fluent Korean and is proficient in web-based communication technologies. Mr. Ahn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Clothing & Textiles and a Master of Arts degree in Journalism & Communication, both of which he earned from Kyung Hee University, one of the top private universities in Seoul, South Korea.. While living in Lake Wylie, South Carolina, with his family, Mr. Ahn frequently travels both within and outside South Carolina in representing his clients located in South Carolina, Georgia, and Washington, D.C. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and taking a walk with Alpha—an energetic and curious West Highland White Terrier.
