Alex Lierz was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. Alex received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2013 and her Juris Doctorate from the Nebraska College of Law in 2016.. During law school, Alex participated in Moot Court and was recognized as an outstanding advocate within the Family Law Practice and Civil Clinical Law Program where she represented low-income individuals in need of counsel while under the supervision of licensed attorneys.. After law school, Alex served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable William B. Cassell of the Nebraska Supreme Court for two years before going into private practice. Alex focuses her practice on representing clients in domestic relations matters, with an emphasis on high net worth and farm divorces, contested custody matters, and appeals. Alex has tried cases across the state of Nebraska, from Washington County to Scotts Bluff County, and has represented clients in matters requiring complex business and property valuations, application of landlord-tenant law, and child custody expert evaluations.. Outside of the office, Alex enjoys reading, playing tabletop games, and gardening with her family. She also devotes time and resources to several pro bono initiatives, including the Lincoln Tenant Assistance Project, Nebraska Free Legal Answers, and direct placement of reduced fee or pro bono cases through the Volunteer Lawyers Project.
