Jessica is a Washington, D.C. native committed to serving her community through her legal practice and philanthropy. At Ornsby Dozier LLP, Jessica advises clients in a variety of matters, and strives to accomplish her clients’ goals through proactive and creative problem-solving. Jessica prides herself on being a responsive and effective advocate for each of her clients.. Jessica has previously worked as a tax associate at a large law firm based in Washington, D.C., where she litigated complex tax matters and advised large companies on the tax implications of various transactions. Jessica also litigated family law matters on a pro bono basis at her prior firm which is what sparked her interest in practicing family law. Jessica also represents clients in landlord-tenant, civil rights, business and tax matters.. In addition to her legal practice, Jessica serves as a tenant advocate for Rockville City Council’s Landlord Tenant Commission. Jessica also participates in various pro bono clinics, and is an active member at her church in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Jessica is a worship leader at two churches within the Metropolitan area, and co-chair of a young adult bible study group. When she’s not interfacing with clients or volunteering, Jessica spends as much time as she can with her family, exploring locally, and traveling.
