I've been a licensed lawyer in Iowa and Illinois for eleven and a half years handling cases ranging from family law disputes to consumer bankruptcy. I started practicing law to help people overwhelmed by the challenges of the legal system. I'm not afraid to take a case to trial, but I also try to find reasonable cost-effective solutions everyone can live with given the realities and that the legal system has no guarantees. Before becoming an attorney, I was a print and broadcast journalist.
