Christine Greene currently practices family law and criminal law (misdemeanors). She has represented clients before the D.C. Superior Court, the Court of Appeals of Maryland and the U.S. District Court of Maryland. Prior to launching her private practice, Christine worked as Director of Legal Programs for the Neighborhood Legal Services Program. As a consultant for the American Bar Association, Christine surveyed U.S. public defense attorneys to identify current comprehensive pretrial practices and, based on the results of her survey, created a toolkit which will provide a baseline reference point and resource guide for pretrial public defenders. This toolkit is published on the American Bar Association's website and will be administered to defense attorneys nationally to aid in improving the quality of holistic representation for defendants nationwide.. Christine earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia and her J.D. from the Washington and Lee University School of Law. She co-authored the article, “African American Family Life: The Dynamics of Interactions, Relationships, and Roles,” which is published in New Directions for Child and Adolescent Development 1995:68, 5. Christine is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and the U.S. District Court District of Maryland.
