Joy Davis was an Assistant Solicitor (Assistant District Attorney) with the Seventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office (District Attorney’s Office) and the Tenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office (District Attorney’s Office). She has also clerked for a South Carolina Circuit Court judge and for a United States Magistrate judge. Though Joy Davis handles cases in various areas, her primary areas of practice include criminal defense, domestic issues, adoption, white collar crimes and post conviction relief.. Joy Clark Davis earned her Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education in 1992 from Ohio University.  She was a Four-Year Scholarship Swimmer, winning countless events, including all 7 events entered at the Mid-American Conference Championships her freshman year – a first-time feat for any swimmer in the MAC Conference.  She earned her Juris Doctorate Degree at the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating in 1995.
