She received her Juris Doctorate from the Charleston School of Law, and while in Law School was President of the Children’s Advocacy and Family Law Society, Vice-President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, Senator on the Student Bar Association, and a member of Phi Delta Phi.. Kelsey is an active member of the Charleston community, and has served as a Juvenile Arbitrator for the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office, as well as a Guardian Ad Litem with the Charleston County office. Kelsey has assisted domestic violence victims as a volunteer with South Carolina Legal Services, and is an active member of the Junior League of Charleston having served as Vice President of Diversity and currently serving as Active Director at Large. She also serves on the Board of the History Rotary Club of Charleston in the area of Education / New Generation where she volunteers her time. She is a member of the Charleston Bar Association, and has served on the Board of the Center for Women, YMCA of Charleston, and Dragon Boat Charleston. Kelsey was raised Catholic and currently attends First Baptist Church in downtown Charleston.. She is admitted to practice in both the state and federal courts in South Carolina and focuses her law practice on probate law, while also handling some matters relating to personal injury.
