I am a lifetime Lake County resident, born in Libertyville, Illinois and raised in Gurnee. I attended law school at Northern Illinois University, graduating Cum Laude in May of 2012.. Having hailed from a family with Lake County roots, it has always been an aspiration to become a professional entrepreneur in the local legal community. The motivation to further that end, coupled with the desire to assist those in distress, led me to open up my own practice in Gurnee in November of 2012.. Since Tomei Law's inception, I have successfully negotiated settlements on behalf of my clients in a number of different contexts, both in civil matters and in criminal matters. I have also managed trials, where I have both defended and prosecuted civil claims. In addition to bringing many bankruptcy matters to speedy and positive resolutions, I have managed appeals, and have successfully argued many dispositive and otherwise essential motions in open court. Prior to starting my own practice, I spent time working in personal injury as well as insurance defense firms as both a clerk and lawyer.. On my spare time I enjoy reading, staying up-to-date with the legal developments, as well as geo-political changes, in addition to running, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
