Since 2011, I have provided sound counsel with common sense advice to help clients find a resolution to their legal challenges. My background as a trained Marriage and Family Therapist gives me unique insight into how divorcing parents can work together and put their children first. My experience and vast network in the legal and mental health community bring a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and resources to my clients. My goal with every client is to help them find the right path when starting a new chapter in their lives, whether that be in family law or estate planning. I will personally be there every step of the way to help you process what you want your life to look like when you're out of the legal system, whether that's a realistic goal, and work with you to achieve results.. I am an experienced attorney who advocates for my clients in all family law proceedings, including settlement negotiations and trials. I have a great deal of experience in obtaining favorable outcomes for my clients. My calm demeanor and ability to communicate effectively in tense divorces and custody disputes helped me to gain the respect of my colleagues in the legal community in both Washington and Illinois. Settlement is not always a reasonable option, and I believe my passionate representation of my clients in the courtroom has produced exceptional results for those clients. In addition to my advocacy in my work as a family law attorney, I work to craft individualized estate plans for my clients as part of my estate and business planning practice.. When I’m not working I’m listening to an audiobook or a podcast, or spending time with my husband, our two children, and our pets - our rescue pups and an assortment of reptiles. I love being able to help people with planning for their families and pets so their minds can rest easy and they can enjoy their lives.
