Robin J. Kantor began her law career in 1988 working on bankruptcy and matrimonial cases as a clerk to the Honorable Cornelius Blackshear, United States Bankruptcy Judge in the Southern District of New York.  She has additionally worked at some of the tri-state area's highest profile firms, including Ravin, Sarasohn, Cook, Baumgarten, Fisch and Rosen in Roseland, New Jersey, and the 90-attorney Park Avenue firm Herrick, Feinstein. Throughout her career, Ms. Kantor has given numerous lectures on the interrelationship between bankruptcy and divorce to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the Rockland County Bar Association, and the Rockland County Women’s Bar Association as a prominent member of the Family Law Inns of Court. Furthermore, she is a member of the New York State Bar Association and Rockland County Collaborative Law Network and is a trained collaborative lawyer.  Ms. Kantor is one of only a few attorneys who has been awarded the Equal Justice Medal by the State of New Jersey for her representation of clients in the Family Courts of the State of New JerseyIn October of 2011, Ms. Kantor formed the the law firm of Robin J. Kantor & Associates, PLLC., a matrimonial and family law boutique firm.
