Attorney Matthew G. McGoldrick joined the CT Divorce Mediation Centers in October of 2020. Prior to joining the firm, Attorney McGoldrick’s legal practice was focused on litigating marital and other family matters primarily in Hartford and Middlesex counties. He attended Villanova University as an undergraduate and earned his J.D. degree from the Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut.. Throughout his legal career, Attorney McGoldrick was drawn to helping clients navigate the turmoil and confusion that oftentimes is associated with the divorce process. During his time as a litigator, he came to recognize that many divorcing couples could be best served by removing or limiting the adversarial nature of divorce litigation and the court system. Attorney McGoldrick coaches the individuals he works with to begin recognizing shared goals and priorities during the process, thereby guiding the spouses to focus on moving themselves and their families forward into the next phases of post-marriage life..
