I am a native Spanish speaker who has lived in the United States since the age of 13.  After graduating from the University of Connecticut in 1995, I was able to achieve my long time dream by graduating from law school in 1998.  During the first few years of my legal career, I practiced in the area of criminal defense.  Thereafter,since the year 2000 until the present, I have engaged in the practice of personal injury litigation.. I have been involved in the resolution of well over 1,000 personal injury cases, a number of which have involved figures over 1 million dollars.. I choose to only represent those that have suffered some type of harm at the hands of others and take great pride in my work.  I believe that I am set apart from many in my profession by the fact that my clients are not simply a settlement waiting to happen, but rather, people who have been wronged and deserve the best of me.. I have tried dozens of cases in my career and became Board Certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in 2008.  I continue to enjoy trying cases and look forward to my next challenge.. In May of 2012, I started my own law firm with my dear friend and fellow attorney, Jeffrey Cooper.  We are located in Bridgeport, CT and practice in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, and worker's compensation.
