The AV rating means that other attorneys and judges before whom I have appeared were surveyed by Martindale- Hubbell and those legal professionals anonymously rated my abilities as an attorney with the highest to preeminent legal skills and highest in adhering to ethical standards.. I am also awarded membership in the Top Trial Lawyers in America's Million Dollar Advocates Forum composed of the select group of personal injury attorneys who have won million dollar results.. I am very pleased that the judiciary has recognized me with appointments to The Character and Fitness Committee for the Third Judicial Department where I assess the character and fitness of attorneys seeking admission to practice law in New York State.. I was also appointed  to and currently serve on the Board of Governors For The Attorney /Client Fee Dispute Resolution Program where I also chair The Legal Issues Subcommittee. This important Board sets procedure s for the resolution of fee disputes between lawyers and clients throughout the State of New York without the need for clients hiring another lawyer to process a fee dispute.. Both of the foregoing appointments were made by the Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division for The Third Judicial Department.. I was appointed  to the Judicial Elections Qualification Commission for the Fourth Judicial District  by the Chief Judge for the State of New York  and currently serve as  chairperson for the commission.  The Commission evaluates judicial candidates for all judicial positions from City Court to Supreme Court in the eleven counties of the Fourth Judicial District of the State of New York.   The Commission issues a finding of qualified or not qualified after reviewing candidate submissions and interviewing the judicial candidates.. I have also served as a Master Attorney in The American Inns of Court, Albany Law School Chapter. This organization brought together select judges, attorneys and law students to foster the ethical practice of law.. As a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum I join less than 1% of the Lawyers in America as a member of this prestigious group.. In addition to personal injury cases, my practice in state and federal courts covers commercial litigation, civil rights and employment litigation and corporate represenation.. In 30 Years of practice, I have acted as lead counsel in hundreds of personal injury and wrongful death claims arising from auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, construction accidents, medical, dental and legal malpractice, police misconduct, product liability, fire and explosion cases.  I have also represented business owners in matters involving myriad disputes requiring legal intervention and have advised employees wronged by their employers.
