Edward P. Capozzi is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney for his expertise at trial in civil matters. After a long career as a musician and performer, he left the stage and entered the courtroom where he has become known for his fierce cross examinations of medical witnesses and artistic presentation of his cases. In 2014, Mr. Capozzi received the New Jersey Law Journal’s Personal Injury Hall of Fame Award for receiving the largest verdict in the state in a products liability case and from 2012-2018 received at least one, and as many as three, of the state’s top 20 verdicts or settlements.. He is a Vice President of NJAJ (New Jersey Association for Justice-formerly ATLA-American Trial Lawyers Association-NJ); a lifetime member of the Multi Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Million Dollar Advocates Forum; he has been named Best Attorneys in America; Top 1% of Attorneys in America and a Super Lawyer 4 straight years.  He is  a member of the American Bar Association; New Jersey Bar Association; Bergen County Bar Association; Sussex County Bar Association; American Association for Justice (AAJ) and Association of Plaintiffs Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America (APITLA).   He has received five, six and seven figure verdicts in Bergen, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Middlesex and Union Counties and regularly lectures on trial techniques throughout the United States.  Mr. Capozzi is married to his wife, Mariana, a schoolteacher, and has four children, Alex, James, Thomas and Olivia. Mr. Capozzi is also an avid sports fan of the Yankees, Jets, Rangers and Knicks.
