I have practiced as a criminal defense attorney since 1982, successfully representing clients facing the entire range of criminal charges, from misdemeanors to the most serious felony prosecutions.. I graduated from one of the top 5 law schools in the country, and trained with the best criminal defense attorneys at the National Criminal Defense College.. I established my own criminal defense law practice in Oregon in 1997, and have worked continuously to defend clients in both State and Federal Court.  I currently represent clients facing a range of felony and misdemeanor charges, including major sex crimes, financial crimes, driving offenses, controlled substance  prosecutions, domestic violence matters, firearms matters, and Ballot Measure 11 charges.. As the owner of a 4-attorney law firm, I take personal responsibility for defending all my clients.  When appropriate, I include other professionals in my defense team, including investigators, scientists, forensic psychologists, polygraph examiners, and other attorneys.  I have been granted the highest professional recognitions, and am available to take on additional matters.. Our multilingual staff includes professionals who are fluent in Spanish, Russian and Arabic, and we frequently use outside contractors to interpret for our Vietnamese and Chinese speaking clients..
