A graduate of The Appalachian School of Law, Matt served as the President of the Environmental Law Society and Vice President of the Phi Delta Phi National Honor Society. Matt also completed a judicial externship with the Thirtieth Judicial Circuit.. Upon completion of law school and passing the TN Bar Exam, Matt accepted a position with one of Nashville, Tennessee’s premier Personal Injury Law Firms where he gained extensive litigation experience.. Matt joined the District Attorney General’s Office as Assistant District Attorney, serving under two elected District Attorneys where he evaluated, processed, and prosecuted criminal cases. Matt gained invaluable experience while being a Prosecutor for the State of Tennessee.. With Matt’s impressive courtroom plus litigation success, and extensive criminal law knowledge, Matt continues to find the best strategy to win when it comes to representing MLG clients.. Outside of work and continuing legal education activities, Matt enjoys spending time with his family (dogs included), traveling, and the live music of Downtown Nashville.
