In 2008, Mark made new law in California with the case of Jennifer Cv. LAUSD expanding the school's duty to protect special education students fromassaults, including sexual assaults.. Mark has tried cases in both state and federal court, and conductedapproximately 100 binding arbitrations. He has also been involved in somesignificant appellate decisions including Jennifer C. v. LAUSD (2008) 168 Cal. 1320, Chowdhury v. City of Los Angeles, etal. (1995) 38 Cal. 1187,and Mitchell v. Gonzalez (1991) 54 1041.. Mark received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law in1989, where he was a member of the Law Review, the Moot Court HonorsProgram, and the Student Bar Association. Before Lieber & Lieber Law Group, LLP, Mark was a partner at Greenberg and Panish in Los Angeles, California,which dissolved after the death of Mark's longtime mentor, David Greenberg.
