He went on to earn his juris doctor from Hofstra Law School, where he was the editor-in-chief of the Hofstra Journal of International Business and Law (Vol. IX) and the recipient of a Gold Public Service Award. During his time at Hofstra, he was also a student-advocate for the Unemployment Action Center, where he represented claimants in more than 45 administrative trials and appeals, and was also judicial extern for the Hon. Ira B. Warshawsky (ret.) of the Commercial Division of the New York State Supreme Court.
