Harry Demiris is a partner at Abrams Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Greenberg, Formato & Einiger, LLP.. Mr. Demiris is a senior litigator with extensive experience handling complex litigation matters in Federal and State Courts. Mr. Demiris' practice is concentrated on civil trials and arbitrations.  He has litigated cases involving complex financial transactions; medical practice dissolutions and shareholder buy-outs; contract disputes; motor vehicle, premises liability and construction accidents involving serious injuries; and a vast array of related civil and personal injury cases.. Mr. Demiris also manages the firm's personal injury department and co-manages our commercial litigation department.  Our personal injury department represents people who have been injured on construction sites, in automobile accidents, due to product defects, and due to defective conditions involving real estate, shopping malls, parking lots and any other location where negligence has resulted in serious personal injury.. He received his B.S. from the United States Naval Academy and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law.. Following graduation from the United States Naval Academy, Mr. Demiris served as a shipboard engineer on the USS Blakely.  Achieving the rank of Lieutenant, Mr. Demiris was assigned as a Logistics Officer for NATO force operations in the North Atlantic Ocean.. Mr. Demiris currently serves as an Executive Officer for East Meadow Kiwanis Club and is very active in the Kiwanis community.  He is also a member of the Admissions Department for the United States Naval Academy where he serves as a Blue & Gold Officer on Long Island.. Mr. Demiris is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
