Cyrus Whittaker is a California and Nevada-licensed trial attorney and the principal of Whittaker Law, a litigation-focused firm that represents clients in employment law, tenant rights, personal injury, and judgment enforcement matters. In addition to direct client representation, Cyrus is frequently retained by other attorneys and law firms as co-counsel or Of Counsel on complex litigation and trial-stage matters, particularly when experienced courtroom advocacy is needed on short notice. He accepts a limited number of direct cases at a time to ensure each receives hands-on attention and trial-focused preparation.. Since becoming licensed in 2016, Cyrus has tried more than 25 jury trials to verdict across both civil and criminal courts in California and Nevada. He is often brought into litigation at critical stages to drive favorable outcomes well beyond pre-trial offers.. His litigation background includes positions at two international law firms, several trial-focused boutique firms, and service as a criminal prosecutor with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, where he handled numerous jury trials through a post-graduate fellowship program.. Cyrus earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Washington and his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, a law school consistently ranked among the top 15 in the country. He has taught California and Federal Civil Procedure as an adjunct professor and is fully fluent in Spanish, frequently representing monolingual Spanish-speaking clients.. Whittaker Law does not operate as a volume-based practice. Cases are carefully screened before acceptance, and all clients work directly with Mr. Whittaker throughout the life of their case. His practice is focused on delivering results through aggressive litigation strategy, trial execution, and post-judgment enforcement.
