Kiki James-Gillman is a zealous and fierce immigration attorney who is creative and unconventional in her lawyering. Known as the “immigration baddie”  for her edge, style, and coloring outside the lines, her career in advocacy and zealously representing immigrant survivors spans over 12 years.. She is an expert in all matters of domestic violence as they relate to immigrant survivors—men, women, and children—and empowers immigrants to take back control of their lives and chart a course on their terms through the green card self-petition process. As an immigrant, it has always been an honor and privilege to walk her clients through this life-changing journey. One that is very personal and rewarding for her.. She is intentional about her work and has built a successful firm with a reputation for winning cases through uplifting, empowering, and liberating her clients.. Kiki is recognized in her community and certainly a role model. She was recently invited to speak to a group of first-year students at Mitchell Hamline Law School on the topic of “Successfully Lawyering As Your True and Authentic Self”.. She has won numerous awards for her advocacy and humanitarian work including most recently she was recognized as one of the “Top 100 Black Lawyers”  in the United States.. She is a wife and mother to three beautiful and adorable boys. She is a fitness and peloton junkie, speaks Spanish fluently, and enjoys girls’ trips with her tribe.
