This clearly puts them at a steep disadvantage and may lead them to accept plea deals they otherwise may not or to make mistakes throughout their case that cause worse outcomes.. She received her J.D. from the University of Colorado in 2018 after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University in 2000.
