She attended the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, where she focused on family law. During her time at University of Denver she clerked in Denver on Domestic Relations matters as well as for the Honorable Frederick Martinez, District Court Judge in Arapahoe County on Civil matters.. In her free time, she enjoys photography, spending time with her teenagers and watching sunsets from her paddleboard.
