Sarah Schielke was born and raised in Rochester, NY. After graduating from Middlebury College and Boston University School of Law, where she attended on a full academic merit scholarship and was the Managing Editor of the Boston University Law Review, Sarah moved to Northern Colorado and started her own law practice, The Life & Liberty Law Office, specializing in DUI defense and federal civil rights lawsuits. Through her work, Sarah imposes accountability on law enforcement and state prosecutors on behalf of community citizens who otherwise could not. Sarah fights for the underdog. And she fights hard. Because everyone deserves better justice than what this criminal justice system is willing to give them.. Sarah is currently undefeated in DUI jury trials for marijuana and breath test cases. Sarah has been repeatedly named a Rising Stars SuperLawyer for DUI defense. She regularly lectures and presents all over the country regarding marijuana, alcohol and drug DUI defense strategy. Her material on Winning Marijuana DUIs has been published in the Texas DWI Manual. Sarah is on the Executive Committee and serves as 2nd Vice-President for the national DUI Defense Lawyers Association and is a Board Member on the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar. She has two kids, five dogs, and a definitely normal preoccupation with the band Phish.
