I aggressively defend my clients.  I have over 25 years of experience in the state and federal courts and developed an extensive criminal defense practice.  I worked with the Western Trial Advocacy Institute and has tried numerous federal and state felony and misdemeanor cases. I have also been active in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Utah Appellate Courts.. I attended the University of Wyoming College of Law after obtaining bachelor degrees in Physics, Materials Science and Engineering and Political Science at the University of Utah. While at the University of Wyoming I was active in the Potter Law Club and became director of the Prosecution Assistance Program.. Following law school, I clerked for the Ninth Judicial District Court for the State of Wyoming. He then became a deputy prosecuting attorney in Fremont County, Wyoming. He handled cases involving felonies, misdemeanors, juvenile court and competency hearings, taking a fair number of them to trial.. I have conducted hundreds of trails in my carrier, including cases where my clients have been accused of: Muder, RICO, White Collar, Fraud, Forgery, Possession and Ditribution of Controlled Substances, DUI, Child Abuse, Illegal Possession of Firearms, Bank Robbery, Aggravated Kidnaping, Aggravated Assault, and much more.. I like the challenge that comes with defendant someone accused of an offense.  I like to think of my clients as Federal Three-Percenters or State Five-Percenters.  Righly 97% of the people charged federally get convicted and face possible prision and only 3% go home.  Roughly 95% of the people charged in the state system get convicted and face possible prision and only 5% go home.  There is no guarnatee as to how any case will come out, but I fight hard to protect my clients and want every one of them to get the change to go home, be with their families and enjoy their life.
