For cannabis industry clients, his work initially focused on advising clients during the transition from the unlicensed to the licensed cannabis market in California. Currently, he advises businesses on all aspects of compliance, starting, and growing their business. Jonathan’s prior experience included serving as the legal counsel for the state court of Kosrae in the Federated States of Micronesia, an independent nation in the Pacific region. His previous legal work also includes both business litigation and corporate transactional law experience and regulatory compliance work.. Jonathan graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where he was the co-editor in chief of the Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs and attended UCLA for his undergraduate studies.
