I have always wanted to help people.  But after many years as a mid-level accounting supervisor, I felt completely unfulfilled and decided it was time to follow my childhood dream and go to law school.  I attended Empire College School of Law, in Sonoma County, California, and graduated in 2011.  I took the California State Bar Exam in July 2011 and was admitted to the bar in December 2011.. I have been a single mom for most of my children's lives.  I have been through divorce and I have been through custody cases.  I have a first hand perspective of what it's like to be a family law client.  Having this experience allows me to truly understand you.  It also allows me to have a real perspective on not only what you are going through emotionally, but also what you can expect throughout the family law process.. I record a weekly video on YouTube where I answer family law questions or give helpful tips about family law related matters, called Coffee Breaks with Beki.  I keep the videos between 10-15 minutes, so that you can watch them on your coffee break!. When I'm not practicing law, I enjoy watching my son play sports or going on hikes / adventures with my husband.  I hold state records for powerlifting in the USAPL for my age/weight class and enjoy body building.
