Alaleh Kamran is a criminal defense attorney, who for the last 30 years, has dedicated her practice to the defense of the constitution, humanitarian causes, and grassroots community efforts to intervene on behalf of the criminally accused. She is a member of NACDL, CACJ, CPDA and TPD.  She is a board member of CCE:  Cross-Cultural Expression, a non-profit dedicated to the mental health of the Immigrant community,  the Iranian Noor Film Festival, the Beverly Hills Film Festival, and a steering committee member of the Iranian American Women Foundation..
