I am a consumer bankruptcy attorney.  I generally represent debtors and small creditors.  I meet with each potential client personally and discuss their individual situation.  Not everyone needs or should file a bankruptcy.  It is important to review all the possiblities for each persons situation.  A client who consults with me leaves knowing what all of his or her options are and the pros and cons of each option.  I believe that knowledge and understanding is the beginning of change.  Changing their financial situation is what every client wants when they consult with a bankruptcy attorney.. I offer a free consultation, in my office, with me, personally.  I have 30 years of experience and I teach bankruptcy to other attorneys thorugh different State Bar approved programs.  I understand Bankruptcy Law and how to get the best result for each client I work with.  I will be honest and straight forward with each client.  If a client is not a good candidate for bankruptcy because there are other options, or because bankruptcy will cause more harm to the client than do them good, I will tell them.  If a bankruptcy will help, I will show them how and work with them throughout the process.. It is important that a client interview more than one bankrkuptcy attorney.  Find out how long they have been practicing, whether bankruptcy is their exclusive area of law, do they have a good reputation in the legal community, are they easy to talk to and did they help you understand the process.  But most of all do you like that attorney and do you believe the attorney has you best interests in mind..
