Associate Attorney Samar Hellar was born in Los Angeles and raised in Orange County, California. Mrs. Hellar received her undergraduate degree in Political Science, with a minor in Human Rights, from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). While attending UCSD, Mrs. Hellar was involved in various organizations, including being an active member of Chi Omega Women’s Fraternity.. Her educational background and passion for helping others propelled her to continue her education and become an attorney. Mrs. Hellar obtained her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law (CWSL) and graduated Cum Laude. During law school, Mrs. Hellar continued to be involved in several on-campus programs and organizations, including being selected as an Honors Instructor for Legal Skills and becoming the Vice President of CWSL’s Public Interest Law Foundation during her second year of law school.
