She was also a research staff member at the Department of Biomedical Engineering in Texas A&M University.. Yi received her J.D. from University of California Hastings College of Law, where she was the recipient of Witkin and Cali Excellence Awards in “Law and Bioscience Seminar” and “Bioentrepreneurship Clinic”.
