I am currently a managing partner with Santen & Hughes and I specialize my practice in business law and commercial litigation.  I work closely with owners of privately held businesses concerning contracts, sales transactions, buying/selling businesses, debtor/creditor rights, and estate planning.  I have extensive experience in handling a wide variety of civil litigation, in all state and federal courts, including contract disputes, construction, real estate, probate, employment, shareholder/partner disputes and collections.  My practice involves significant representation of debtors and creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization cases.. I am involved in numerous non-profit community organizations, including being Chair of the Board of Directors for the Corporation for Findlay Market, which operates Ohio's oldest public market.  In 2003, I was awarded the John W. Warrington Community Service Award by the Cincinnati Bar Association for extraordinary volunteer community service.
