Wine Country Family Law was founded in Sonoma County in 2008 during the worst period of my life—my divorce.. A newly single mom fresh out of law school with two young boys and starting a new business in the midst of the great recession, times were tough, to say the least!. It was during this challenging period that I came to appreciate how physically, emotionally, and financially draining the divorce process can be, even for an attorney!. Through my own difficult journey, I was able to hone in on the benefits my firm could bring to clients going through difficulties such as separation, divorce, custody and child support issues..
