After graduating from law school in 2004, Paul worked in Washington, D.C., with an appellate practice, including assisting in drafting the brief in Duke Energy, which helped win a 9-0 decision by the Supreme Court. Paul returned to Iowa in 2006 and has worked at law firms in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids, primarily practicing in Family Law, Personal Injury, and Business Litigation. In 2011, Paul opened his own law firm with offices in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids.
