Gina L. Colaluca began working as an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Laura A. Holwell in 2013, where she practiced family law. In 2016, Gina continued to work with the Holwell family as an Associate Attorney at Holwell Law Group, LLC. Recently, Gina opened her own practice and is now the owner of The Law Office of Gina L. Colaluca, LLC, where she continues to focus her practice in Family Law, Domestic Violence, and Civil Appeals. Gina has extensive experience managing both contested and uncontested divorces, custody disputes, child support matters, cases involving domestic violence, and civil appeals. Recently, Gina successfully argued an attorney fee issue at the Illinois Supreme Court.. In 2012, Gina graduated Magna Cum Laude from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. During law school, Gina served as a Lead Articles Editor on The John Marshall Law Review Editorial Board (Fall 2011, Spring 2012) and also obtained CALI awards for Criminal Law (Spring 2010) and Children and the Legal System (Spring 2011) for the highest grade in these classes. During law school, Gina gained valuable experience as a law clerk for a boutique family law firm, an intern for the Department of Children and Family Services, and an intern for the Domestic Relations Division of the Office of the Public Guardian. Prior to beginning her legal career, Gina attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, where she graduated with Highest Distinction in 2009. She earned a bachelor's degree in English, and obtained minors in Psychology, Music, and Political Science.
