Such planning should go beyond estate tax savings, and implement comprehensive succession plans for both the owners and the business. In addition, such plans should include appropriate provisions for family and creditor protection.Roy co-founded a business-focused law firm which served the metropolitan Washington area for 34 years before combining with Dunlap, Bennett & Ludwig, so he knows what it is like to start and manage a small business.Since 1999, he has been an enthusiastic sponsor and resource for Entrepreneurs’ Organization-DC, a peer-to-peer learning and support group composed of entrepreneurs in the metro Washington DC area.
