Michael Elbert is the lead attorney at the Elbert Law Firm. His primary practice areas are criminal defense, DWI and personal injury litigation. After receiving his Bachelor's degree from the University at Buffalo, Michael attended St John's University School of Law on an academic scholarship. He began his career at the Bronx County District Attorney's office where he prosecuted thousands of cases ranging from misdemeanors to homicide. Since entering private practice in 2001, Michael has distinguished himself throughout the area as a skilled trial lawyer, winning acquittals for clients on a wide array of charges such as, murder, robbery, burglary, weapons, narcotics, vehicular crimes, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, possession of stolen property, harassment and disorderly conduct. Michael's trial success and experience with area prosecutors and judges has given him the knowledge, experience and credibility necessary to achieve the best possible results for his clients..
