She also drafted, reviewed and negotiated numerous types of contracts, reviewed and reformed company policies, created training manuals for lay personnel, maintained corporate compliance matters, negotiated commercial leases, handled corporate matters, counseled individual consumers on bankruptcy issues and debtor/creditor law, engaged in negotiation of debt settlements with National Banks and legal collection firms. Tayne also managed client funds in excess of millions of dollars. Prior to that Tayne worked at the Nassau County Legal Aid Society as a Staff Attorney where her duties included representing parole violators at all stages of the revocation process.   Tayne received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Affairs from The State University of New York at Albany. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1997 and Federal Bar for the Eastern District of New York in 1998.
