Terrie Benson Murray graduated Summa Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Fredonia with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and History. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. As manager of two of their local offices for over 17 years, she provided legal representation to hundreds of Western New York autoworkers, in the areas of Estates and Trusts and Bankruptcy. She also has extensive experience in the areas of real estate, adoptions, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act litigation in federal court, matrimonial and family practice, and civil litigation. She has lectured on elder law and estate practice for the local and state bar associations.. She served the "Fopunding Mother" of the Southtown's satellite of the Family Justice Center, a provider of services for victims of domestic abuse. She now serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Family Justice Center of Buffalo and Erie County, continuing her commitment to fighting domestic violence and abuse. She is a founding member and officer of PEO Chapter CM, a women's organization dedicated to assisting women who wish to pursue higher education, by providing scholarships and loans..
