Brittany joined Beasley Allen Law Firm in October 2014 as a lawyer in our Mass Torts Section. Brittany has served as part of a team of attorneys who took three talcum powder cases to trial. In February 2016, a St. Louis, Missouri, jury found Johnson & Johnson liable for the death of Jackie Fox, and awarded her family $72 million in damages. In May 2016, another St. Louis jury awarded Gloria Ristesund $55 million in damages, finding Johnson & Johnson liable for Ristesund’s damages related to her ovarian cancer. In October 2016, a St. Louis jury awarded Deborah Giannecchini $70.075 million for her injuries suffered in relation to her ovarian cancer.. Education. Brittany graduated cum laude from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in May 2014, where she was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient. Brittany graduated from the University of Alabama Birmingham in May 2014, earning a Masters of Public Health, which has provided her with a unique perspective on the healthcare issues involved with her cases..
