She then stayed in Lawrence to attend University of Kansas School of Law. While in law school, Laura served as the Student Direct for the Defender Project, a clinic which serves state and federal prisoners in appellate and post-conviction litigation. After receiving her law degree, Laura went on to earn an M.B.A. from Washburn University. She is thrilled to be back in her hometown serving the community.
