BACKGROUND AND EDUCATION. Prior to moving to Northfield in 2000, Hahn practiced law at the Atlanta construction law firm of Shapiro, Fussel, Wedge, Smotherman, Martin & Price.. Hahn graduated in 1993 from the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill, with Honors, is a published author, and was on the North Carolina Law Review. She received her undergraduate degree, also with Honors, from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1990.. Hahn is married to St. Olaf College professor Steve Hahn, Chair of the St. Olaf College History Department. Her daughter Erin is 21 and is presently a Junior at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Her son Luke is 19 and is currently a Rotary exchange student in Japan.
