He has been instrumental in the reorganization of a number of businesses, and has been appointed as counsel for creditor committees.. Mr. Silton joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in July 2007 with a group of seven attorneys from the law firm of Mansfield Tanick & Cohen, P.A., where he was a partner. In the spring of 2009, Mr. Silton aunched the Bankruptcy Clinic at the University of St. Thomas Law School in conjunction with the University’s School of Psychology and Social Work. The clinic provides pro bono bankruptcy services as well as counseling to indigent people.
