The criminal justice system forces one individual to defend themself against the entire might of the State of Minnesota. I want you to know that you do not need to stand alone. My name is Baxter Zaiger and I am a criminal defense attorney licensed in the State of Minnesota. I graduated cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in December of 2018. While in law school, I was an editor for the Mitchell Hamline Law Review, law clerk at a criminal defense firm, and teacher to first year law students. My passion for criminal defense goes beyond representing people through the justice system, I believe in educating my clients so that they know what to expect when it comes to court proceedings as well as engaging with law enforcement.. Before attending law school, I gradutated from the University of Minnesota where I studied political science as well as economics. I was also the president of the Economic Student Organization where we focused on pairing students with Fortune 500 Internships. I also had the great opportunity of creating a scholarship for economic students who showed the most "GRIT.". Outside of the law I enjoying going on walks with my wife and dog, fishing, and watching movies. I am also an avid college wrestling fan.
